Ms. Anderson Bomar is an International Past President (the first woman) and Honorary (Distinguished) member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and is past Chairman of the Institute's Technical Council Design Department, Policy Committee, and Transportation Planners Council.

In 2017, Marsha was elected to serve as a Technical Region Governor and Director on the ASCE Board of Direction, now serving as the Society Treasurer. She is a Fellow of ASCE and is a nominee for President-Elect in 2024. She is also featured as Extraordinary Woman Engineer in ASCE publication entitled, Changing Our World, True Stories of Women Engineers, by Sybil E. Hatch, Copyright 2006, (page 88) and has served as President of the ASCE Transportation and Development Institute. She is serving as the Co-Chair of the 2024 International Conference on Transportation and Development.

Ms. Anderson Bomar received the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce Athena Award. This is given to the Outstanding Businesswoman who has made a significant contribution in business, community service and her profession. In 2023, she was named Woman of the Year by both WTS Atlanta and WTS International. She has also received numerous other awards and the Georgia Section of ITE honored her by naming their Annual Young Member award in her honor. In 2014, she was selected for the Public Service Award by the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Anderson Bomar provides mentoring to students, businesses and technology mentorship to young entrepreneurs and participates in the various Angel groups.

Dr. Md. Sirajul is presently serving as Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh and Member of the Board, Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). Previously, he held several important positions in NSU as Director, CIRS; Dean, School of Engineering and Physical Sciences (SEPS); Founder Chair, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE); Chair, and Department of Environmental Science & Management (ESM). Dr. Islam is having extensive experiences in the field of water resources and environment engineering with further concentration in climate change and disaster management. 

Dr. Islam completed his B SC in Civil Engg. Degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka; Masters from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore and PhD from The University of Tokyo, Japan. After his PhD, he conducted JST Postdoctoral Fellowship at Taikan Oki Laboratory, IIS, The University of Tokyo. He also served for some international organizations as UNFCCC, IPCC, UNCRD, UNDP, ADB, GIZ and World Bank for consultancy, research or short term assignment. 

In 2010, he served as a Research Fellow in the Secretariat of the UNFCCC in Bonn, Germany. He served IPCC as an Expert Reviewer for a number of reports as SREX, SRREN, AR6, 'Global warming of 1.5°C'. In 2017-18 he served as a 'National Consultant' of Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the project Action on Climate Change in Asia. Recently, he completed several assignments as 'Team leader' of the monitoring & evaluation team to investigate government projects under IMED of the Ministry of Planning. 

Dr. Sirajul published widely in different international peer reviewed journals, conference proceedings; wrote book chapters and popular articles regularly in newspapers. His total write-ups are more than 100. He is presently serving as Editor, Journal of Water Management Modeling (JWMM), Computational Hydraulics International (CHI), Guelph, Canada (A SCOPUS Indexed International Journal). He visited a large number of countries while attending conferences, meetings and workshops.
